About Kate Smart

Kate Smart BA(Hons) graduated from the University of York in 1994. Following a short spell in banking, Kate moved to the South of England where she took her first sales role in the promotional merchandise industry. After working 18 years for distributors managing large blue chip clients, and managing a team of Account Managers, Kate decided to branch out alone and founded Affinity Merchandise Ltd which started trading January 2015.Kate’s values are ingrained in everything that she does. She is passionate about giving excellent customer service to all clients as-well as the equal importance of managing supplier relationships. She always ensures that the interests of her clients are looked after and makes sure that her business is kept up to date with product trends.In her spare time, she volunteers for a local ‘Sport in Mind’ charity supporting a badminton coach. You will also find her walking her dogs, running 5k or 10k, gardening, and more recently on the golf course.
